Navaratri Utsavam 2020 Day 1 Concert 1

Vocal Concert by Chi. Nahar Gurudatha accompanied by Sow. Sahana Sreeram on Violin and Chi. Ashwath Karunakaram on mridangam. Chi. Nahar Gurudatha is a 8th grader who lives in Herndon VA. He has been learning Carnatic Vocal from Vid. Ramakrishnan Murthy and Carnatic Violin from Vid. Subhash Vinjamuri and Vid. Kamalakiran Vinjamuri. He has been learning music since the tender age of 5. Sow. Sahana Sreeram is a 10th grader who lives in Ashburn VA. She has been learning Carnatic Violin from Vid. Subhash Vinjamuri and Vid. Kamalakiran Vinjamuri. She also has been learning Carnatic Vocal from Kalaimamani Charumathi Ramachandran. Chi. Ashwath Karunakaram is a Sophomore, and has been learning Mridhangam under the guidance of Sri Vijay Ganesh since the age of four, and has recently started learning under Guru Shri Neyvelli Narayanan as well. Ashwath also learns Carnatic Vocal under Guru Shri Hari Kappiyoor.
