2020 General elections: NPP in Ashanti Region take steps to understand performance in polls

The leadership of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region has set up a Committee to assess the party’s performance in the region in the just-ended polls. The party had targeted to win all 47 parliamentary seats as it had 44. It however failed to achieve the target losing New Edubiase to the NDC; and Fomena to an Independent Candidate; whereas the NDC held its grip on Asawase.
