@JoblessJazz3 years ago Hm i see your point, *however*, i have original f50s, including this model, and somewhat disagree with your sentiment. Once broken in theyre only n id="hidden7"ot decent for touch and minimal sensation like speedboats should offer, but they also provide a great feeling of lockdown and structure, something which cant be said of latest iterations (i also have the speedflow. 1) something can be said about having a thicker, stronger, albeit more plasticky synthetic upper. Why do uppers need to be so pliable and thin nowadays? Its use is for an impact sport with repetitive contact with a ball.
i genuinely think the latest speedflow is simply toopliable and thin, resulting in a sloppy and inconsistent feeling, especially considering the rigidity and responsiveness of the carbonplated soleplate! And i havent even mentioned the issues with durability, as evidenced byphotos online!
simply put, i think nostalgia isnt the only thing fuelling the love for older f50s and older tech shouldnt be overlooked when designing for the future. ...Expand 1
