Acid Reflux Symptoms, Causes, and Natural Treatments: http://bit.ly/2DKvbui In this video, I’m going to go over how to naturally treat acid reflux. Triggers for acid reflux usually involve not getting enough enzymes in your diet, causing low stomach acid. In order to address this issue, you need to change your diet. I would recommend avoiding citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolate, carbonated beverages, grain products, and hydrogenated oils. Replace those foods with foods that are high in enzymes and easy for your body to digest like vegetables, fruits, organic meats, bone broth. Additionally, you want to supplement your body with a digestive enzyme supplement (two capsules with meals) or HCL with pepsin (start with one capsule with protein). You will also want to focus on your lifestyle by eating less at meals and slowing down your eating pace. Lastly, start using apple cider vinegar, which is the number one home remedy for acid reflux (one tablespoon before your meal). Apple cider vinegar is effective because it contains acetic acid which helps you to digest food. Following all of these tips will improve your symptoms and help you overcome acid reflux altogether. -------------------- Dr. Josh Axe, DC, DNM, CNS, is a doctor of chiropractic, certified doctor of natural medicine and clinical nutritionist with a passion to help people eat healthily and live a healthy lifestyle.
