Akatarawa and Hutt River kayak

The rivers were high, and the group of us from VUCC were seasoned paddlers, so we decided to run the Akatarawa River from Karapoti Bridge down to Maori Bank rapid. The river was big, brown and fun. Akatarawa at Cemetry 1300mm | 23m³/sec Hutt River at Kaitoke 26m³/sec
