My Say Yes to the Dress Episode | Christian Bride Wants Dress to Represent Her Purity *emotional*

Welcome back to our channel! Connor and I keep saying we will get back to making videos together soon, but we are in the middle of moving into our new place this week, and things are STILL more hectic than expected, so this week we are uploading something that some of you may have already seen: our mini-episode of Say Yes to the Dress! Our experience on Say Yes to the Dress: America was unbelievable. I still can't believe that a producer reached out to me, and within a few months, Connor and I were being flown to New York City to go wedding dress shopping at Kleinfeld's, I was picking out the dress of my dreams for free, and being married in Central Park with a couple from every state in America! This was a very special and unique experience for us to share. From the beginning, I simply prayed that God would only let us be a part of this show if he could use us to bring glory to Him through it. I was so happy that I got to speak of my faith and purity on such a huge platform, and was even able to uniquely bond with one of Kleinfeld's consultants, who was also saving herself for marriage! How beautiful it is that God shows up in the most interesting places. I know the show didn't film all of this, and didn't show all these conversations, but I was still pleasantly surprised that they left in a little bit of conversation on faith and purity. Hopefully someone saw this and was even a little bit inspired to maintain his or her purity. The emotion that this dress evoked in our episode wasn't based on how the dress looked, visually, but on the meaning behind the dress. Behind what you saw was my mom telling me she was proud of me, and me telling her that I felt like I NEEDED to wear this dress, because of what the solid, pure white front represented in my life. It was such a special mother-daughter moment. This dress was also the perfect spring board to talk about God in front of so many people. SO COOL!!
